PF 360 Capture New Updates – June 2024
New Updates:
1. 9302 – Option to utilise Record ID in Global Search box to locate a document
Previously, files were searched by the file name, but now users can search by document ID for more precise identification.
Go to the Documents tab and input the document ID beginning with #, as shown in the example below. You can also use multiple document IDs to search for documents.
Record ID search functionality is available on the Tasks page but is limited to queue-level search.
2. 10656 – Added pop-up dialog functionality on Submitting a Document
Previously, the CapturePoint system did not include a pop-up function to confirm document submission, but it has now been added.
3. 10098 – Email Intake error notification emails converted to a queue system
Previously, the system sent an email notification to the profile admin email address whenever there was a problem with each email intake. A new feature has been added to create a queue with all the email intake issue notifications and send one email with all the email intake issue details.
This prevents the system from spamming the profile admin inbox with too many emails.
4. 10119 – Option to unlock SSO user accounts in the admin portal
Previously, if the SSO user account is locked, only the system admin can unlock it. A new option has been added to the user management context menu to allow the user management admin to unlock the SSO user account.
Click on the three vertical dots next to the user’s email to open the user management context menu. Then select “Unlock SSO Account” if the user account is locked.
5. 10163 – Option to dismiss all notifications simultaneously
Previously, when processing a document, if there are multiple error messages, the user must dismiss all the notification messages individually. Now, the user can dismiss all the messages at once by clicking on one Dismiss button from the list.
6. 10279 – Added an option to send outbound fax through pop-up on the user Dashboard.
Previously, the Outbound fax would be sent using only the Fax-out option on the Indexing page. A new option has been added to have a Send Fax Link on the User dashboard. This option must be configured in the profile configuration page. The steps are below.
a. Enable “Show Send Fax Link” in the configuration page’s Dashboard menu.
The “Show Send Fax Link” is displayed on the dashboard.
b. Click on the “Show Send Fax Link” button.
A new page will prompt the user to enter the Fax details.
c. Enter the To Fax Number and To Fax Name.
d. Select a Coversheet template from the list and enter the details
e. Choose a file for attachment and upload
f. Preview the Fax Out document if required and click on the Send Fax button. When the fax is sent successfully, the fax status will be updated.
7. 10281 – Creation of new record ID for outbound faxes for tracking and status updates
All the outbound faxes are now assigned a record ID, and the status is updated. This enables tracking of outbound faxes in a tile.
8. 10632 – Implemented UI component in the indexing form for merging referral/additional documents that are listed in other queues using the record ID.
The indexing page now allows users to merge another document from different queues using a Record ID, removing the child document from the system.
9. 10814 – Ability for System Admin to access locked pages
A new feature added for System Admin to take over the locked Group & User Management page. Previously, when an admin worked on the Group & User Management page, the page would be locked, requiring another admin to wait until the lock was released. A new feature now allows an admin to steal the lock, eliminating the need for the other admin to wait.
The steal lock option is available only to the profile admin, not the User management admins.
10. 10861 – Support for redaction feature in workflow processes
Previously, the user manually redacted documents, but now redaction can be done automatically within the workflow. The redacted OCR information will also be removed from the system and it won’t be available for export.
11. 10895 – Added document merging capability in the task list
The Document Merge feature allows the user to merge multiple documents from a queue. The Document Merge option must be enabled in the Dashboard Tile Configuration. Below are the steps.
Click on the settings to enable the “Document Merging” option and choose “Merge Original Documents” option if the original documents must be merged. When merging the original documents, the child documents will be deleted.
The user can select multiple documents from the list. When the documents are selected, the “Merge Selected Documents” option will be shown.
The Merge Document Panel will display the selected documents, and the user can choose the Primary Document. After selecting the primary document, the user can click the “Merge Document” button to confirm the merge.
12. 10914 – Added profile-level translation framework
The profile configurations now have an option to enable translations at the profile level. Previously, we had only a global translation option.
Below is the language data resource file with translation details. This language data will be uploaded to the “Language Data Files” section.
Once the resource file is uploaded, the data can be loaded into the profile and used for translation. The development team’s assistance is required to configure a profile for language translations.
13. 10917 – Added OneDrive Integration to CapturePoint.
CapturePoint now has the capability to integrate with OneDrive for document intake and export through UniCloud Access.
14. 10973 – Implemented additional lookup validations to the lookup configuration.
Enhancements have been made to the lookup configuration to include validation for the additional lookup column names. This update guarantees that no lookup issues will arise in the event of changes to any lookup column.
The below image is for the reference for the “Required Column Format” option. Remember to click the “Set lookup settings” button to save the configuration.
15. 10981 – Implemented logging for outbound faxes submitted through the UI
Upon sending an outbound fax, the Document History log will be updated with fax logs for easy reference.
16. 10982 – Implemented safeguard on outbound faxes to prevent unintentional spamming
The user must wait for 10 seconds before sending the next fax. The system will display an error message, prompting the user to wait for 10 seconds after every outbound fax sent.
17. 11004 – Added the capability to utilize lookups with Fax Number and Fax Recipient Name values.
Previously, the user had to enter the fax number and recipient name manually. Now, the profile allows for a Fax Number list lookup, enabling the user to select fax numbers from the list.
Below is the sample lookup file for the Fax Number list.
The lookup values will be populated in the Fax To # dropdown list, the user will be able to select the fax number from the dropdown list.
On selecting the Fax number the To Fax Name will be populated form the FaxNumber lookup.
18. 11026 -“Sign Out” option relocated to the bottom of the user profile menu
Previously, the “Sign Out” option was placed second in the menu, leading to accidental logouts by Admin users trying to access “Settings”. Changes were made to prevent this mistake.
Bug Fixes:
19. 11002 – Irregular left-click behaviour on hamburger buttons across Task, Groups, and Users pages has been fixed.
