Indexing Page Header Menu Functionalities

Indexing page header menu options help the user to process the document image. These menus are profile specific. Users may or may not see all the options given below.

Fit to Width

Zoom Out

Zoom In

OCR Search

Helps the user to search for a text within the document with the help of OCR.

1. Click on the Search button from the header menu.
2. Search text box will be shown in the form.
3. Enter a search value into the Search text box and press enter.
4. System will look for the search value on the document and highlight it in yellow color.

Go to the Previous Page

Goes to the previous page.

Page Number

Displays the current page number and helps to launch a specific page number.

Go to Next Page

Displays next page.

Download Options

• Include OCR Text: Selecting this option makes the document searchable.
• Include Redactions: Includes the redaction sections (masked areas) and downloads the documents.
• Download Document: Helps to download the document as a PDF file, that is generated from the document image.
• Download Original Document: Helps the user to download the original document that is uploaded by the user.
• Close Menu: To close the context menu window.

Redaction Controls

Users can mask the sections of the document using the Redaction option.

1. Toggle Redaction Mode: Click this option to prepare the document for redaction
2. Select an area by holding the mouse and drawing a square on the range of text.
3. Click on Finalize Redactions to confirm the redaction performed. This is the final confirmation. Once finalized, the user will not be able to clear or hide the redaction.
4. Hide Redaction: The content of the redacted area will be temporarily shown, but the selected area will be marked in the background and when the user clicks on Finalize Redaction, the hidden area will also be redacted. Once it is finalized, the redaction cannot be reverted.
5. Clear All Redaction:  Removes all redactions performed on the document and show the content. This should be performed before finalizing the redaction. The once finalized system will not clear the redaction.

Cropping

To crop, select the Crop Image Controls tool for the following options:

1. Select Toggle Crop Image Mode: Click this option to prepare the document for the crop.
2. Select an area by holding the mouse and draw a square on the range of text.
3. Click on Finalize Crop to confirm the crop. This is the final confirmation. Once finalized, the user will not be able to clear or hide the cropped content.
4. Hide Crop Selection: The cropped content will be temporarily shown, but the selected area will be marked in the background and when the user clicks on Finalize Crop, the hidden area will also be cropped. Once it is finalized, the crop cannot be reverted.
5. Clear Crop Selection: Dismiss all the cropping performed on the document.
6. Close Menu: Closes the context menu window.

Deskew Controls

To Deskew, select the Image Deskew Controls tool for the following options:

1. Automatic Deskew for performing an automatic arrangement of document
2. Click on Clockwise to rotate the image clockwise.
3. Click on Anti-Clockwise to rotate the image anti-clockwise.
4. Click on Finalize Deskew to confirm the image position. This is the final confirmation. Once finalized, the user will not be able to undo the deskew.
5. Clear Deskew: Dismiss all the auto and manual Deskew actions performed before finalizing.

Toggle

As the user selects the Toggle Thumbnails, all the pages from the document will be listed in the right-side panel for a better view.
